Ian King

Ian has been involved in the industry for 40 years initially as a cost accountant with Drake & Scull Ltd rising through the ranks to Senior Surveyor at Newman & Watson Ltd in the 1990’s

Ian experienced the highs and lows of the construction industry including the 80’s recession, now coping with the current recession and all its ramifications.

Ian held senior management positions Commercial Manager, Commercial Director before a short interlude when he set up a Charitable Trust called Bar-n-Bus to reach out to kids on the street in South East Essex. Ian established the current surveying business on the back of the Jubilee Line with Emcor and has never looked back. Subsequently he worked on some large projects, such as Addenbrookes Hospital, City Offices and Sports Centres accounts ranging from £2 million to £40 million. No job too small, no job too large.
